ACP Creating a Infographic Show Me Dont Tell Me iPhone 12 Infographic
Question Description
Show Me, Don’t Tell Me – Infographic
Find and pick a new product or service that has been introduced within the last two years. Once you have decided on a product or service, create an infographic that will inform consumers about the product or service and convince them to buy.
For this assignment instead of writing a short paper, we ask you to create an infographic (a representation of information in a graphic format designed to make it easily understandable at a glance.) Here are a few sites that can help with ideas on how to make an infographic:
How to Create Infographics in Under an Hour (Links to an external site.)
How to Make an Infographic: The Ultimate Guide (Links to an external site.)
Each TA will pick their favorite and we will post them after all the grading is over. Please do not include your name or any personal identifying information on the infographic itself.
Assignment Requirements:
- The ideal format is a PDF or PowerPoint file containing the infographic.
- Don’t include your name or any identifier on the infographic itself.
- We are not looking for just “pretty” graphics or designs but more for a clear summary of key points (problem/situation, evidence, conclusion, etc.). Looking at the examples provided below is encouraged before you attempt your own. Most of the time should be spent in the thinking process (gather your data, simplify data, construct a message, etc.) rather than in creating the graphic itself.
- Infographics focus more on pictures rather than words.
- Focus on what is important. The rubric provides hints about that.
Assignment Submission Instructions:
- This is a different kind of assignment. Rather than writing a paper here you have convey a message with a graphic that has to be meaningful, easy to read and understand as well as to convey a clear message.
- You can use a simple tool such as Microsoft PowerPoint or other types of software.
- Templates and examples are provided below.
- Feel free to modify them!
- The point is not just “pretty graphics” but rather that you convey a message that encourages and convinces a consumer to buy.
- You can overwrite your assignment as many times as needed as long as you do it before the deadline. Only the latest version will be available.
- Please refer to the rubric to see how you will be graded.
