For each of the Six Social Institutions (Marriage and Family, Religion, Education, Government and Politics, Health and Medicine) listed in the textbook,

1. Illustrate and analyze each social institution’s groups/organization, statuses, roles, values, beliefs, and norms as they occur in popular culture.Your illustrations can be made up of internet newspaper headlines, advertisements, comic strips, photographs (you take or from other sources), book covers, songs, movie clips, YouTube videos, TV shows, or anything else pertaining to social institutions (see above).All media must be inserted into your portfolio not as an URL!!!
2. Illustrate and analyze your own experience as a participant each social institution (groups/organizations, statuses, roles, values, beliefs and norms).
