XYZ Shoes, a fictitious company in the retail industry, needs a dashboard and underlying reports for visualizing retail sales data of items sold across multiple stores and districts. The metrics would compare this year’s performance to last year’s in the areas of sales, units, gross margin, and variance. It would also include analytics of various districts and stores over different geographic locations. This use case would be used as one aspect for determining possible expansion directions and/or anticipating future performance.
