Introduction:

Open a browser and navigate to “whatsmyip.org” and select the “More Info About You” link. Scroll down and review the information displayed.

What is your interpretation the displayed information? Do you find any of it to be interesting? Troublesome? Can you do anything about it? If you have an IP address discrepancy (based on the results of the weekly ASSIGNMENT), does it offer you any reassurance? Why?

Introduction:

Perform the following tasks:

1. What’s your computer’s IP address? (copy & paste it)
   1. Windows : Open a command prompt and enter “ipconfig”
   2. MAC : Open a terminal and enter “ifconfig”
   3. Is your address public or private? How do you know that?
   4. Open a browser and go to “whatsmyip.org”. What IP address does it claim you have? Any idea why it might be different from the address in question 1?
