Your company have been awarded a building and road constructionproject involving the construction of a 5 kilometre double lane roadacross a green field site. Included in the contract is the building of a castin situ concrete three storey structure measuring 50 metres by 15 metreswith a reinforced concrete roof and roof garden. You as the ConstructionManager appointed to the job are required to:

1. Investigate typical options for the construction of the road andbuilding and choose one.
2. From you choice of method above, you are required to investigatethe type of plant and materials required to carry out this project.Your findings should be presented in a formal report to themanaging director of the company.
3. You are also required to make a power point submission availableon your proposals that could be shown to the project team toexplain the project.
