Question:

Give a brief summary of the story/plot: highlighting the beginning, middle and end. Then argue what you think was the most interesting/compelling/thought-provoking part of the book and WHY? Use lots of evidence from the novel to support your opinion. DON’T FORGET to CITE! (Cite direct quotes, paraphrases, and summaries!) Outside sources are fine, but not required.

All proper MLA (header, page numbers, spacing, margins)

In-text citations and a Works Cited of the novel

*Don’t forget to italicize the title of book

*After mentioning the author’s full name, just say (St. John Mandel 179).
