Hello,
Everyone should be deciding on a topic for the comparison and contrast essay this week. Remember that this essay is four pages plus a works-cited page and is due Friday, November 13. Since you will include two quotations from two sources to help support your point, I would like you to read Chapter 17: Integrating Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism and Chapter 18: Documenting Sources: MLA. I have posted a video lesson about giving credit to sources.
I have also posted a PDF with two comparison and contrast examples. One is an example of a subject by subject pattern and the other is a point by point pattern. Make sure to pay attention to the points for special attention at the bottom of each essay.
