MSVU Puzzles Are Good for Development of Children Research Questions

This assignment has two parts: a research proposal and a résumé.

Part I: ProposalYou are seeking grant funding to perform the study we did earlier this term (Data CollectionProject). You need to imagine that you have not yet done the study and do not have anyresults; at this stage, all you have is an idea of what you want to do and how to go about theresearch.Organize your proposal using the main headings of Problem, Method, and Solution. Each ofthese should be on its own line, centred and in bold (Level 1 headings; APA Manual, p. 48). Ifyou use subheadings under these main headings (e.g., under Method use the subheadingsParticipants, Materials, Procedure), these should be Level 2 headings.

Part II: RésuméAppend a one-page résumé describing yourself as you are now (e.g., a first year science studentat Dalhousie). Imagine you are applying for a summer job; list your skills, educationalbackground, awards, work experience, and any other elements you think a prospective employerwould find relevant and attractive. If you have only recently begun university, you may wish toinclude high school information. If you have a university track record, you do not need to includehigh school information; however, if there is something significant from your high school years(e.g., a national award), by all means include it.
