Saddleback College Child Development and Pro Social Behavior Video Analysis

I’m working on a Psychology exercise and need support.

Please click hereActions for complete instructions*. Please follow the guidelines very carefully and thoroughly, as they are very specific, and observations cannot be resubmitted for a higher grade. *Although the assignment instructions call for an in-person observation, obviously that is not possible this session due to current circumstances. Videos will be provided instead for students to utilize as their observation material.

OBSERVATION VIDEO RESOURCES

So as previously mentioned, this assignment is usually an in-person observation of an early childhood classroom or setting. Obviously, given the current circumstances, that is unfortunately not possible at this time. So instead, the videos at Desired Results (Links to an external site.), Eastern Connecticut State University, (Links to an external site.)and Rockefeller College (Links to an external site.) will serve as your observation resources. You may also use videos from YouTube (search prosocial behavior and young children, or prosocial behavior in the early childhood classroom, or prosocial behavior in preschool, etc.).

You may choose any of the videos on these sites, but please keep in mind the specific instructions for the observation (ages, settings, etc.).

For Desired Results (DRDP), you will be viewing Observation Practice Videos. Please choose the preschool video selection, and then there are multiple groupings from which to choose, including Exploration, Large Group, Small Group, and Mealtime.

For Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU), you will be viewing the Early Childhood Video Clip Library. Read and accept the Terms of Use, and then you will have access to hundreds of video clips. On the right is a filter that allows you to narrow your search to those clips that are most useful.

For Rockefeller College (RC) search “prosocial behavior”.
