House dust mites (HDM) are major sources of indoor allergens associated with allergic diseases including atopic asthma, African Americans being disproportionately afflicted. These allergens are known to be powerful inducers of IgE antibody responses. It is also known that atopy is a complex disease involving both genetic and environmental factors. Design a study to identify genetic variants associated with Dermatophagoides farina induced atopic asthma development in Africa Americans. In your proposed study, include the followings:
